Beyond The Wall

The Wall is huge. It was built by Brandon the Builder. It keeps the evil away from the good and if evil tries to surpass The Wall, Nights Watch is there to defend the good.
The Headquarters of the Watch is Castle Black. The Sworn Brothers of The Nights Watch defend it. They train hard every day, cook food for themselves, wash their own clothes, basically they do everything on their own. The Watch sends some men Beyond the Wall every morning for surveillance and they cut off every tree in one mile of the distance so that the evil cant use any cover to surprise attack them. Nights Watch has less than a thousand Brothers left to defend every part of the Wall. With the numbers, the Watch has they can cover only Castel Black, East Watch By The Sea, and The Shadow Tower.
Jon Snow joins the Watch with his uncle Benjen. Jon is happy. The day after Jon joins the Watch his uncle Benjen leaves Beyond the Wall on a ranging because that is his job as the First Ranger. Jon asks to go with him but Benjen refuses and says farewell. Without Benjen, Jon is alone and unhappy. He trains every day with some new recruits but he is the best swordsman no one could defeat him there, Ser Allister Throne, Master-at-Arms, hates Jon, he mocks him as "Lord Snow" and sends some of the new recruits after him but he defeats them easily. Later a new recruit joins the Watch, Samwell Tarly, Throne makes fun of his body and nicknames him "Lord Piggy". Throne sends Rast after Sam and Sam is defeated and gives up. Jon interferes and warns them not to hurt Sam. Jon makes a new friend that day and takes vows together.
Several days later Benjens horse arrives at Castel Black, but no sign of Benjen. Two of his accompanies are found dead in the forest, they are brought back to Castel Black for master Aemon to study. But in the middle of the night, corpses resurrects as Wights and Jon Snow burns them. Next day Lord Commander Jeor Mormont promises Jon to find his uncle dead or alive.
Beyond the Wall, something fishy was going on, the evil wasn't the wildling (People living beyond the wall), The White Walkers (Wights) were the actual evil. And Jon Snow had just killed two of them. What is the White Walkers plan? How does one become the White Walker? Has Benjen become one of them too? Do you know what Starks have always said, Winter is Coming.

  2. What a great show GOT was. I never planned on watching the show since I read the books and they were amazing. I didn't think the show would ever live up to the book but was really (and happily) surprised! Jon Snow rocked!

  3. How does one become the White Walker? You need to make another blog post about them. I'm really curious!

  7. Is it weird that I have never watched a single episode of Game of Thrones nor read any of the books? What is even a bit more odd is that growing up, I loved similar fantasy like the Pendragon Chronicles and any Book by Raymond E Feist. But GOT for some reason hasn't intrigued me in the slightest. What am I missing?
