Game of Thrones - Overview Part 1

Westeros, a place where kings of the nine major houses fight against each other to win a chance to rule the seven kingdoms of Westeros and to sit on an uncomfortable chair called "The Iron Throne". 

Robert Baratheon took the throne by killing his lover's husband (Woah! Spoiler Alert!), thus he became the ruler of the seven kingdoms. After several years, His Grace was threatened by the existence of two kids. They were no ordinary kids, they were children of King Aerys II Targaryen who was infamously known as "The Mad King". Robert was afraid that someday those kids may come after the throne and avenge the death of their father who was killed by Jamie Lannister. Well, it seemed those kids were actually planning something to take the throne back. Before all that and after the death of his Hand, Jon Arryn, Robert needed someone to take Jon Arryn's place, someone he could trust. So he invited himself to Winterfell to his old friend Eddard Stark, Lord of the Winterfell. The King arrives at Winterfell greets his friend and his family, and then he offers Eddard to be the Hand of the King. Eddard tells his wife that he needs to help his friend. But something has happened to Brandon, one of Eddard's children, he fell from the Broken Tower. The kid who isn't afraid of height has a good grip and he is not a soldier like his other brothers and one sister. Brandon is not waking up, his mother is taking care of him until he wakes up. While Bran is recovering, Eddard leaving with his daughters to King's landing and his bastard son Jon Snow goes to the Wall with his uncle Benjen.

Jon Snow arrives at Castle Black to join Nights Watch. Jon has the company of Tyrion Lannister while going to the Night's Watch. Jon is good at combat than any other person in the Night's Watch. Jon makes a new friend and they take their vows to be the shield that protects the realms of men. Tyrion Leaves Nights Watch.

Catelyn Stark captures Tyrion Lannister for the crime he didn't commit and takes him to her sister, Jon Arryn's widow, Lysa Arryn of The Vale. There Tyrion Demands Trial by combat and Bronn fight Tyrion's battle for a good amount of gold. Tyrion Wins the trial by combat and leaves with Bronn to his father to get his gold as he promised.

While in the free city of Pentos the Targaryen kids, Daenerys and Viserys, are planning a wedding to a warlord in exchange for an army that can help them win the Iron Throne and be crowned. The ally of Viserys, Illyrio Mopatis gives Daenerys three Dragon Eggs as her wedding gift. After the wedding, Viserys is scared that Khal Drogo (the warlord) will forget his promise and he finds out that his sister is pregnant with Khals child and Khal tells him that he and his army will sail to Kings landing and give him his crown after his son is born. At the Feast of dosh khaleen, Khaleesi has to eat the stallion's heart because the child is proven to be a boy. Khalessi eats the whole heart and names their son Rahego. Whilst dosh khaleen celebrates Daenerys's pregnancy Viserys tries to steal the dragon eggs from Khaleesi and Ser Johra stops him. Viserys gets drunk and interrupts the feast and brags that he is a king and how he should be treated, but Drogo says "You are no king". Angry Viserys threatens Drogo that he will leave with his sister and threatens to kill his unborn son. As promised Drogo gives him the crown he promised (showers Viserys with melted gold). One more thing Viserys called himself The Dragon, but Daenerys is the real dragon.
