WHAT'S UP YOUTUBE!

A lot of famous actors are posting videos on YouTube. Everyone is a creator on YouTube. I'm not saying that actors shouldn't be making videos on YouTube.

Real YouTubers are the ones who are creating quality content for their audience. YouTubers who work on their content for a week or a month are not getting much recognition. And they post content regularly.

Nowadays, everyone wants to watch an actor or a celebrity do a flip or cook half-naked on YouTube. I mean, they are already famous, everyone recognizes them.

The truth is that it requires a tremendous amount of effort, a specific set of skills, lots of research, planning, creativity, consistency, time management to make a quality video on YouTube.

It's not like you wake-up, brush your teeth, record yourself cooking half-naked, and Voilà! You got yourself a video with millions of views within a couple of hours.

P.S. No offense, famous actors.

  1. I agree. It absolutely requires a whole lot of effort and time to produce a well made Youtube video! I don't mind supporting celebrities' channels that aren't as popular anymore. But I also want to support Youtubers who are just creating awesome content and aren't famous outside of that.

  2. As someone who produces content for YouTube it's a tough market to crack. I'm sure many of the celebs also put work in, but they get a lot of views for who they are vs content. Just hit 2600 subs this month, slow, steady and consistency.

  3. You are so right, quality videos cannot be produced without proper planning, research and creative vision. A lot of hard work goes into it.

  4. I agree: I hate that actors are taking over social media, we get to see less of 'real' people to inspire us. It is easy to make a great post if you are already famous and have tons of people you are willing to pay to make most of the job for you. Plus tons f celebs do not even care to make a good video, they know they face is all the fans need

  5. This is the reality now and yes, it seems that these famous actor has taken over YT. As a YT content creator, I totally understand the effort needed to create a video especially if your channel is all about online tutorials and product/ tech reviews.
